Q. How much do your cakes cost?

Since our cakes are custom designed, pricing varies widely depending on the design, size and overall intricacy of your cake. Please feel free to get in touch with your ideas, and we would be happy to give you a better idea of the price range you would be looking at.  Our minimum order is $700.

For simpler buttercream cakes, take a look at our “Classic Collection”. These cakes are available in a variety of sizes starting at $500.


Q. How far in advance should I book my cake?

We generally start taking wedding bookings in November each year for the following wedding season. Certain wedding dates will book up quite quickly, so we recommend getting in touch 6-8 months in advance of your wedding to avoid disappointment.

We do our best to squeeze in other occasion cakes during our busy wedding season (May-October), but still tend to book up several months in advance. We require a minimum 2 weeks notice for occasion cakes, but the more notice you can give us the better!


Q. Do you offer delivery? What about cake stand rentals?

Delivery is highly recommended for all wedding cakes and tiered occasion cakes. Delivery and set up within Vancouver starts at $60+gst and go up from there depending on distance.  Certain cakes requiring extensive set up or large fresh floral application may incur extra delivery charges.  This would be something we are happy to discuss and price out for you during our design consultation or via email.

Delivery outside of the Greater Vancouver area is available on a case by case basis.  Please contact us for availability and pricing.

We do not offer cake stand rentals, but are happy to provide you with a list of our favourite décor companies who do!


Q. Am I able to come for a tasting?


We offer complimentary cake tastings for all wedding cake orders and for occasion cakes over $500. Tastings include a selection of 4 of our specialty flavours from our menu. Tastings for 2019 weddings will start in November of 2018. We can accommodate evening appointments and will have select weekend dates available for appointments as well.


Q. Can I send you an image of the exact cake I am looking for?

We won’t copy other cake artist’s designs, but you are welcome (and encouraged) to send us images that illustrate the style of design you are looking for. These can serve as great design inspiration!


Q. Where are you located?

Our studio is located at 119-3823 Henning Drive in Burnaby, close to the intersection of Boundary and Lougheed.  Our commercial kitchen is not a retail store, so we are open by appointment only.


Q. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Interac e-transfers and credit card payments.


Q.  Will my cake be made fresh from scratch? 

Yes!! All of our cakes are made fresh to order using only the highest quality ingredients. We use all butter, local dairy, organic eggs and organic and local seasonal fruits.


Q. Are you able to accommodate special diets and allergies?

We are excited to announce our delicious range of vegan cakes will be launching in 2019. We do not offer gluten free cakes at this time. Please note that our kitchen is not allergen friendly as we use ingredients such as wheat flours and nuts on a daily basis.  While we follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures, we cannot guarantee that no cross contamination will occur. Please contact us if you have any questions about our ingredients or processes.


Q. How big is a slice of cake/serving

A serving of cake is generally considered to be a 1”x2” slice, approximately 5” tall. When your cake is delivered, we provide your caterer or venue with a cutting guide illustrating flavours and how to get the correct number of slices out of each tier of cake.


Q. Do you offer faux cakes?

Yes we do! Faux cake pricing starts at $400 and is determined by the size and intricacy of your cake design. We also offer sheet cakes to serve your guests at $3.50 per serving. 

Q. Are you hiring, or accepting interns?

We aren't hiring at the moment, but always welcome resumes and portfolios from talented bakers and artists to keep on file.


We are occasionally able to accept interns for the summer season, but students must be enrolled in college program where they would be receiving credit for their time with us. Internships require a minimum 3 month commitment.
